Founded
in 1957
in Santa
Barbara,
California,
Pueblo
Radiology
began
providing
radiological
imaging
services
at St.
Francis
Hospital
in 1960,
then at
the Cottage
Healthcare
System
locations
of Goleta
Valley
Community
Hospital
(1966)
and Santa
Ynez Valley
Hospital
(1982).
In late
2002,
we began
providing
professional
services
at Santa
Paula
Memorial
Hospital
and Ojai
Valley
Community
Hospital.
Further
expansion
in 2003
to a new
outpatient
office
in Ventura,
allowed
us to
feature
the newest
technology
in imaging
equipment
in a beautifully
decorated
and easy-to-access
location.
Since
our inception,
Pueblo
Radiology
has provided
high-quality
service and state-of-the-art
imaging to our patients,
and has remained
committed
to supporting our
hospital affiliates,
with whom we provide
imaging services
equal
to the
best current-day
medicine has to
offer.
Both of our outpatient
facilities feature state-of-the-art
imaging equipment linked,
over a secure Internet
connection, to a computer
network. Once on the
network, images are
moved, viewed, and stored
electronically, maintaining
a timeless and meticulous
record of all patient
images. Pueblo's computer
systems are also linked
with all of our major
hospitals and with referring
physician offices so
they may view their
patients' images online.
In addition to interpreting
diagnostic imaging studies
and conducting radiology
procedures, our physicians
also serve on various
quality, planning, and
medical staff committees,
and we also provide
interpretation for studies
at the UC Santa Barbara
Student Health Center.
Pueblo Radiology is
presently working
to be on the cutting
edge of Mammography
with the addition
of Digital Mammography
to its diagnostic
portfolio. Additionally,
Pueblo Radiology has
become one of only
three imaging centers
in California that
offer ultrasound imaging
in dense breast tissue
through the use of
U-System’s
Somo-Vu. This breakthrough
technology is used
as an adjunct to mammography
in the early detection
of breast cancer when
dense tissue is present. |
